THREE FIBERS, ONE RUNWAY
This was Munay's first time ever on a runway. Not a lookbook, not a showroom appointment, a runway, staged at Château de Jussy, one of the Geneva region's landmark estates, in front of a room that had never seen the brand presented this way before.
We built it in three acts, one for each fiber.
The first was summer, and it opened in Pima cotton, light, breathable pieces carrying the feeling of northern Peru, where that cotton is grown.
The second act moved into business casual, mixing Pima cotton with baby alpaca, the two fibers worn together the way they'd actually be worn in a wardrobe.
The third act was winter: baby alpaca in full weight and warmth and the show closed on our most precious fiber of all: vicuña, worn last, as the piece everything had been building toward.
We staged it. A scenario, a progression, each act its own mood before handing off to the next. The room felt it. People loved it.
Thank you for everyone's presence, it was truly a special moment.
